does Valerie and peter end up together in the movie red riddinghood?

ok so me and my friend are having a argument over if Peter and Valerie
end up together. The end wasn't quite clear on that. I say they do but
she says they don't? And she would like to know how you know for sure
that they did/didn't end up together. thanks
