Travel greenlights group of series

Travel Funnel has greenlit two original unscripted series and moved two others into development, including one from David Arquette, Courteney Cox and Omar Epps. The cabler also mentioned it could premiere the eighth season of "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" on April 9 and restored Bourdain's "The Layover" for just about any second season. "Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in the united states,In . which received an order for 10 halfhour episodes together with an hourlong finale, follows the host's mix-country mission to have an ideal sandwich. The show will succeed Richman's "Guy v. Food," which has stopped production after four years on Travel. Richman will professional produce with Matt Sharp, Serta Adler and Bob Larson for Sharp Entertainment, which might be the shingle behind lately greenlit halfhour series "Toy Potential predators." Inside the latter, which elevated from the Travel Funnel special to earn an order for 12 halfhour episodes, toy and memorabilia dealer Jordan Hembrough also circles the U.S. searching for hard-to-find treasures. Arquette, Cox, Epps and Mike McGuiness are professional creating "Mile High," an activity that envisions featuring the weekend adventures of pals Arquette and McGuiness, a PR firm co-owner. Travel also bought a halfhour pilot for "Aloha Gold," devoted to some Hawaiian tour company, with Fishbowl Worldwide Media creating. "There is available an engaged programming slate leaving this year, where we're delivering an assorted number of perspectives in the new team of travel experts and experts who inspires and engage our audiences through their personal lens," Travel senior veep of programming production Andy Singer mentioned.
